What is naturopathic medicine ?
Naturopaths assess health in a holistic way, addressing the underlying root cause of a symptom presentation (whether this be nutritional deficiency, stress or poor gut health). This is done through a thorough case taking and health assessment, addressing various body systems that may be out of balance.
The difference between a nutritionist and a naturopath is that naturopathic medicine encompasses many things including dietary and lifestyle advice, the use of herbal medicines (liquid herbal tonics, creams, teas), nutritional supplementation and flower essences.
Health can often be confusing and complex; with a calm and grounded approach, we can look into your case to work out the most suited, individualised treatment approach for you.
I weave my knowledge of traditional herbal medicine with current evidence-based treatment (the beautiful foundations of naturopathic medicine) in order to create treatment plans that are both practical and that will bring about sustained change.
